Joyfully Growing Our Family

There are lots of ways for a family to grow and we have experienced many of these over the years. Once again we are growing by adding a son-in-law! We are so excited that last weekend while camping at the beach on the California coast, Michael asked Beth to become his wife. And she said “YES!”

The Ask!

Michael had planned this so that his mother would be with them to take pictures but they were not anticipating others being present to witness their big moment. But Saturday morning Keith called Beth to say that he was going to be only about 45 minutes away so perhaps he and Hillary could come and visit Beth and Michael during the afternoon. Michael invited them for dinner and some sunset picture taking beforehand.

As the picture taking progressed, with the additional witnesses and cameras, Michael dropped to one knee to propose. The joy you can see on their faces.

Keith was so excited since just a few years earlier Beth had been present to watch his proposal to Hillary. We are excited about Beth and Michael’s life together and how God will continue to lead them.
