Tozama and Melita make soup or stew 4 days a week and they are excited to have their water tank finally close to being hooked up. There are days when they cannot cook because the water supply is cut off, but now, after Roy puts up the pipes to catch the rainfall, they will have a more secure water source.
They are also thrilled to have veggies growing in the yard, and have already used spinach and now are starting to use the green beans in their delicious and nutritious stews. We picked the beans together, and I got called aside while they continued picking and then went in to the kitchen. We had a good laugh when I went in with two more handfuls and motioned how the beans were hiding from them.
It is so fulfilling to be a part of this vital ministry, to take part in helping and healing and sharing God’s love.
