Planting trees and seeds, planting hope in people’s lives, that’s what Roy is about. He’s happiest when he’s got his hands in the dirt, showing someone firsthand how to take care of God’s creation. One of our visitors this month, Alan Johnson, in the picture carrying the tree, shadowed Roy during his family’s week long stay. He wanted to see, firsthand, how his love of plants could be used in ministry. It was at the nursery school pictured below that his mother heard him say that he got it, basically that he realized how planting and gardening could be a vital mission service. Please pray that hearts and lives would continue to be touched, that the Lord would use us to share his loving grace.
