Our time with friends, away from work, in God’s creation, was extraordinary,
but it is SO GOOD to be home again,
even though we came home to face a blown out generator
and no antenna set up at our house for cell phone and internet. Thankfully we have solar panels to run a 12v system for lights and computer usage, and there was still water in our reserve tank, so we were good to go! We actually spent 2 nights at the mission first. In the meantime, Luke has done some rewiring to install a water pump purchased in Yaoundé,
and we have hooked up a smaller back-up generator. We are borrowing the ex-Cones’/future nursing school booster antenna, and Roy extended our antenna pole way up high (yes we have a lightning rod running to ground alongside) so we now have at least cell phone reception and I can do internet on my phone! So very thankful!!
