It has been a privilege to go to Genesis’ orphanage and help the caretakers know some child care, first aid and what to do in an emergency. They actually surprised me with what they already know, regarding safety and just basic child care. They take care of a maximum of 12 little ones at a time, aged from birth to 4 years. The day I taught they were filling out the paperwork to take in a 2-day old that had been abandoned. They have just found an administrator, so timely, as Candice, the substitute administrator, is heading to Cape Town at the end of the month to start her new ministry position there. Please pray for these little ones and the ones taking care of them. Please pray for families for these kids, for a good turnover rate for these homeless babies to be welcomed into families that will love and nurture them. Check out the ElRoi Baby Home link
