It is good to get news from a foreign land. While we are in South Africa, our dear friend and director of CEFA sends reports for Roy to translate and turn in to U.S. donors. Along with the reports come photos so we get to see what is happening and what we will soon go back to. These 2 photos are taken out in the villages, showing the people involved in ag co-operatives. What makes these so special is that there are very few co-ops functioning. Too many of the villages around our town have become ghost towns, with gardens, farms, and orchards abandoned. People have fled to our town and other peaceful havens where they might have family or friends to take them in. We are always happy and thankful when success stories, stories of hope, come in.
