We are so thankful to be back at home, after having flown and driven for many, many hours. The welcome was/is overwhelming! Everyone has made sure first that Roy has recovered as they have showered us with ear to ear smiles, forehead bumping and handshaking (the official and polite greeting), and even some bearhugs. Our long trip was uneventful, not even a flat tire. Roy had pulled his back badly on Monday, but he was able to drive all day Saturday, through rain and very bumpy, muddy roads on just Tylenol. Thank you so much for your prayers, especially in view of the wrecks we saw along the way. Here’s a logging truck mishap we are thankful not to have been close to when it happened!
