Praises
A fresh water well has been drilled at CEFA
As we said in an earlier notice this month, the official NGO papers have been signed for CEFA
CEFA had its first official board meeting, which went very well
Benoit has agreed to be CEFA’s director, with Roy as technical counselor, which is a great relief, especially in view of our coming year in the states and the desire to have CEFA run by Central Africans
A cashier, Jacob, has been chosen at the hospital, so with Gaston the bookkeeper and Mathias the main pharmacy depot manager learning their jobs slowly but surely, there is light at the end of the tunnel for Aleta’s time commitment at the hospital for those jobs
Luke and Kim and the garage crew were able to repair our turbine which provides water and electricity to the hospital and mission
The weekly Musxlim ladies’ meetings have been going quite well
Prayer concerns:
Please continue to pray for our contacts with Fulani & Musxlims, that hearts will be softened to hear the good news
Please pray for Gaston, Mathias, & Jacob, that they will learn well and be honest in their jobs
Please pray that the land title will be swiftly and easily transferred now that CEFA is officially established. We have just learned that the head guy who had the papers on his desk waiting to be signed has passed away, so keep the prayers going, for his family and for the land title!
