Wow, Roy the energizer bunny was going full steam those last few days in South Africa. He tied up a lot of loose ends, but also has left quite a few tasks in the hands of Zweli, the farm manager. Zweli will be busy with the macadamia crop already existing on the farm, but he does have more help than usual right now. Please pray for him to be able to direct work while he keeps up with all his usual other tasks on the farm . He and the other 3 workers are thrilled that Anna, our daughter-in-law, will continue on with morning bible study. That is way cool!
Roy and Zweli, measuring, clearing, and staking out where the coffee is to go
Same slope, different viewpoint, of coffee seedlings, planted, and protected from wind and critters, with grass cut in between
Framework for shadecloth, still to be put up, to protect the plastic water tanks from sun damage. These tanks hold water from both rainwater from roofs and pumped up from the dam at the base of the orchards. They hold the water for keeping the nursery tunnel plants going, as well as for the irrigation system to the fruit tree orchard, as well as the system yet to be laid to the coffee plants
