What a busy, unorganized, wonderful, heartwarming, mind boggling time we had this past week, sharing our abundance (special thanks to Encompass & CWR) with our friends just across the river who are suffering. Even though the gift of cassava, peanuts, and dried beans was more of a token than a lasting gift, it was great to be able to say to our friends “We are giving you this because we want you to know you are not forgotten. God loves you so much and even though you were chased out of the country (our Fulani buddies) or you lost your homes to attack (Gbaya friends), we want you to know that we are praying for you and thinking about you and hoping for a safe return some day.” Oh the conversations I had and the thanks expressed, over and over. Please keep praying for these displaced and hurting friends, and for peace for C.A.R.
