where they negotiated with the owner (who also has an interest in being able to use these roads to get his products out) to all contribute to the work. Roy has a contact in the states, a friend named Tom, who has helped us with the planning and will come to Gamboula during this coming dry season when all is ready to install his special bridge supports.

The sawmill owner has come through with his donation of planks, the support frames are here, the local work teams in each community are gearing up, but we can’t do it just yet – it is best to do the work in dry season, which should be in full swing by mid December. That means that January is probably the time this all will happen!
