Well, not exactly. We picked up the chameleon, below, on our trip to Yaounde, but we went to Yaounde to do some shopping for construction supplies and to pick up Timothy Chapman, who has come to be with us for 2 years, as a ReachGlobal missionary, to help with agricultural outreach. We have known his sister, Marcie, and his family, for many years dating back to Congo/Zaire days, and we are excited to have him join us! He seems to be a soft spoken and intelligent guy,definitely raised in Africa! so I imagine he’ll adapt quickly and be a great asset to our team!

One thing, though, we have to call him “big” Timothé (French spelling for Timothy, pronounced something like tee-moh-tay). We have 3 guys here with Timothy on their birth certificates, but thankfully Tim Wester goes simply by Tim. Then we have Timothé Turk, so I’m guessing we’ll have some mix-ups along the way. We have quite the set of names to mess with your head here; we’ve got Tim & Kim, and we’ve got Jan & Ann & Leanne, and now we’ve got the 2 Timothés. Fun, fun, fun!
