Happenings at the Back 2 Eden farm

We invested in a post hole borer digger thingamabob – I’m sure there’s a lovely technical name for it, but boy was that a great decision.  Roy and Zweli must’ve dug at least 300 holes between them, for trees, fence posts, and even dragon fruit cement columns.
We’ve added tilapia to the dam reservoir to see how they do
This is Roy & Zweli planting the first tropical fruit tree from the nursery tunnel, into the orchard.  These guys work hard together, and Zweli is catching the vision, eager to learn, taking quickly to everything, from compost to bible study.  We are blessed to have him to carry on when we return soon to CAR.  Please pray for Zweli as he will be even more busy soon, come March 15th when we have to leave.

Our hearts are full of gratitude to the dear couple who have made ALL this B2E ministry possible.  Their gifts over the past two years have provided everything, from nursery tunnels to irrigation systems.  Thank you, Thom & Noranne!!

About danforth

As Covenant missionaries, we are working with all the tribal groups of the Central African Republic (CAR) but are trying to give special attention to the Fulani, a Musxlim, cattle herding, and semi-nomadic people group. We live on an experimental/training farm, near a mission station which has a hospital plus bible and nursing schools. We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts. Due to the ongoing conflict and resultant ethnic cleansing in CAR, we are crossing the border to interact with our Fulani contacts.
