Awakenings – Awakenings are opportunities to connect with God and others. Some are scheduled for the early morning, when we’re literally wiping the sleep from our eyes. Others remind us that any time of day might be perfect for awakening our souls to God’s invitations to us and to alertness for God’s activity around us.

Monday Feb. 4th

7:45 am Awakenings Emmaus Walk: AKA – Modern day version… Walk to Starbucks!
Come walk with us to Starbucks, and get your favorite drink on us. Recognize Jesus in your life as you chat about your life with others. Meet in the lobby at 7:45 am.

7:15 Awakenings morning run – Join us as we break out into the sunshine and beauty of San Diego and enjoy a community run!
9:00 am- 11:00 Morning worship
Free Afternoon and EVENING OR
Awakenings 11:15- noon Instagram Parable walk – Capture a moment. We invite you to a few quiet moments with God out in the sunshine. Then “post” your images on #covyouth and enter story over a lunch with friends.
Awakenings noon- 1:00 join us for lunch (bring money)
Awakenings 8:00-11:00 PM ART as PRAYER RESOURCE Room: The room will be open for you to come and go. It will be a space where you can interact with art materials to engage God through images, and spiritual practices. Room location: TBD
Thursday
7:45- 8:45 am Awakenings Something you and your students might have in common is a low level of free time and a (relatively) high level of tech in your life. Come try out a resource designed to allow you to catch your breath and to encourage meaningful connections with God through downloadable, audio-guided prayer experiences. Meet us at the hotel lobby.
