Friends, the resource “Kids Helping Kids: Orphans and Vulnerable Children” is now available for download on the Evangelical Covenant Church website. It is a free, 12-week resource developed by the Covenant that can be used in local churches and gives children a chance to hear the brave and inspiring stories of children around the world. Through stories, Scripture, games, and reflection, children are invited to reflect on their own experiences and respond through prayer and action. I was so pleased to be a part of writing this year’s curriculum, as I value the ways that Covenant World Relief partners with ministries that are providing support for vulnerable children. Included in this year’s resource are three stories from Colombia.
