Well, I am really behind with blogging about our trip. The schedule just did not allow me to write and send as I had hoped, well maybe my own discipline too. Cindy and I both have numerous notes and observations and we will put them down as best we can in chronological order.
In summary, this was an excellent trip in many, many ways. The Lord provided above and beyond what we could have imagined with good connections, new contacts, wonderful receptions and hosting, better understanding of Covenant World Mission, great discussion, and deepened relationships with our national partners. We thank Him for providing. We thank you for your prayers.
I would love to find out how to contact you for more information on your poultry project. We have a project in Haiti and have been considering a poultry project for our village there.

Sandy,
I am new at this and only now noticed how the comments show up and where I approve of them. I am very, very sorry for the delayed response. I have an interest in Haiti as that is where I went on my first missions adventure in 1974 and then later for 10 months 1976-77. Given the earthquake which has happened since you made your comment, what are your thoughts now? Where is your project in Haiti and to what extent was it impacted by the earthquake?
Please write me at: pete-cindy.ekstrand@covchurch.org. Please also tell me where you are in the US.
Thank you for your patience with this newby. I promise not to be so delayed with my next response.
Pete
