On Zoom

Roy’s big bro, Scott, in Michigan

With Roy’s sister Lynn and hubby Tim, and Mom

I could keep wishing and praying for the old days when we could be in a room filled with friends and family, chatting and hugging and just being together, but I don’t think that wish and prayer is going to be answered any time soon.  In the meantime, I am so thankful for technology.  You name it; Zoom, Facetime, Skype, Youtube,…  These all make the miles just melt away.  We are in process of putting together some video presentations for different venues IF technology fails us the morning we’re supposed to be in cyber church via Zoom or whatever.  Please pray for us as we prepare.  We already have a short one, a thank you video, with some updates on ministry in CAR.  If you’d like to see it, let us know by email.

About danforth

As Covenant missionaries, we are working with all the tribal groups of the Central African Republic (CAR) but are trying to give special attention to the Fulani, a Musxlim, cattle herding, and semi-nomadic people group. We live on an experimental/training farm, near a mission station which has a hospital plus bible and nursing schools. We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts. Due to the ongoing conflict and resultant ethnic cleansing in CAR, we are crossing the border to interact with our Fulani contacts.
