Our journey toward mission has been a process. After we graduated seminary, we anticipated pastoring a local American church. When this door wasn’t opening, we began to think differently about how God might want to use us. While the time of waiting and discerning has been at times quite frustrating, we are so thankful to God for teaching us patience and giving us wisdom about the path we should take. We have truly sensed God forming us spiritually and emotionally to prepare us for the task of reaching the German people with His love.
In spring of 2014, we traveled to Germany to meet our colleagues. We were commissioned by our denomination in June 2014 and are now fully engaged in raising prayer and financial support. We hope to begin serving in the fall of 2015. We will be sure to keep you updated along the way with stories, prayer requests and appreciation.
