This has been a busy week and as it has gone forward I have definitely been thinking ahead to the joy that is to come. There is the simple joy of the end of the semester – experienced yesterday at Rain Forest International School, and the joy of the arrival of Grandparents just in time to celebrate a third birthday.

But there is the greater joy of celebrating lives well lived. Two of our colleagues from our early years as missionaries in Zaire joined the saints in heaven this week. Their joy has been made complete.

And we anticipate the joy to come when Christ rules in the hearts of men that they might be reconciled to their God.
