Learning to work together!

First retreat t-shirt designed by Bethany and proudly worn by all!  An initial glitch when I went to pick them up at screen shop as they had forgotten to include the completion of the verse.  The front says, “I lift my eyes up to the mountains.  Where does my help come from?”  

Thankfully, the manager was able to artfully insert the verse around the logo he had enlarged (that we didn’t ask for)…and truth was proclaimed!  “My help comes from God, maker of the heavens and the earth.”

Four friends from Det Udom, where my sister and her husband previously worked joined us this year and blessed us through their testimony of  how God has given victory over spirit worship and has restored families.

So very thankful that Dave and Hannah Bryant came back from up north to be with us at our ALC Retreat.  We so appreciated how they gave of themselves and made every effort to be part of the lives of the people in our community.

The website said, “near a waterfall”….we totally enjoyed our 1 meter waterfall (man-made) each day!  The water was clean, cool and refreshing….and NOT dangerous!
