SANTA BARBARA, CA (August 4, 2008) – A memorial service will be conducted on Friday, August 15, for Betty (Tyson) Johnson, 91, widow of Evangelical Covenant Church pastor Cecil Johnson. Betty died July 28.
The service will begin at 2 p.m. in The Samarkand Chapel, 2550 Treasure Drive in Santa Barbara.
Johnson was born June 28, 1917, in Chicago, Illinois. She married Cecil on August 7, 1937. He died July 31, 2001.
