A quadruple New Testament Dedication happened in the city of Gemena, in the northwestern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo on Sunday April 25. Those that now can read scripture in their mother tongues, those that did the translations, those that came alongside in all manner of support have been in our hearts and prayers for many years. What a celebration!
The four languages are Ngbandi-Ngiri, Lobala, Mono, and Pagabete (left to right in the photo), and the people who we used to work with and some of our missionary colleagues still work with, are holding the scriptures in their hands and seeing the Jesus film in these languages for the first time. We are so thankful to God for these blessings!
