Wow, someone took what they had and made something useful out of it. First time I’ve ever seen tire chairs!
We’d like to ask for prayer, that the recent reconciliation meeting that took place at Gamboula, with both the ostracized Fulani Musxlims and local resident non-Muslixms, would bear fruit. We’ve heard that Fulani are again coming to the mission hospital and that there have been Fulani cattle herders passing by, seemingly without trouble. Would that the Lord would help newly made spaces be strong enough to support ex-friends sitting together as friends again. These chairs don’t care what the person sitting on them believes or looks like. These chairs don’t care where the person goes to worship or what family the person was born into. These chairs just want to be able to hold up under the weight of the person. Would that the weight of ethnic differences be dropped and the ability to live together in peace again be supportable. Would that of an evening one might find again, sitting around the fire, a Mohammed and a George, together, sharing the happenings of the day.
