Roy & Tom & Nadege, our veggie garden specialist at CEFA, visited 3 co-op gardens across the border among the Fulani refugees the other day. They were super encouraged by the energy and obvious enthusiasm for taking care of these crops. There are 2 men’s co-ops and one women’s co-op, and it looks like they’re going to supply a lot of food to a lot of families. CEFA and different special projects (Covenant Cares, FRB, Encompass Global, etc.) supply co-ops like these with tools and seed and advice. Thanks to many of you, these refugees will be healthier and have some measure of economic stability. With the gifts of these resources, the love of God becomes tangible, hopefully opening their hearts and minds to the true base of that love, the Gospel message.
