Teaching New Songs in Taiwan

It’s Friday night and the two week camp has ended.  Left is the farewell on Sunday with Da Di Church and return to the dorm  we started our stay in upon arrival.  What impacted me most this week was the song I taught to the kids, “Who’s the King of the Jungle?”  They had so much fun learning that song.  Kids anywhere love to learn new songs and sing with hand motions.  Fun tunes that keep them singing it all the time. The Movement of God in Thailand

I knew very little about the work prior to traveling to Thailand. Thankfully, my ignorance was broken as we traveled discovering the work of God in the lives of people and creation throughout Thailand.

The work is alive – the church is dynamic; the ministry holistic, and the structures supportive. Without overly romanticizing the work in Thailand, it is clear that the missio Dei is evermore embraced by the believers in this part of the world. Leaders and participants in Thailand spoke of their faith as a movement. The grammars of faith were kinetic not institutional; pentecostal not overly pious. The life in Christ movement throughout Thailand is a dynamic and powerful movement – from God for people (and creation). Continue Reading »



Mosaics Vision Trip in Belgium 2011

Goal of Trip:

  • To cast the vision for the Covenant Mosaics Project, specifically as it applies to work in Belgium by introducing the team to the women asylum seekers, refugees and immigrants living in residential centers and private homes.
  • To educate on ministry among Muslims and the face of missions in Europe.

Length of Trip:  March 2 – 12, 2011

Group Limit:  8 women.  We want to include women from our supporting churches who would thus already have a connection with the ministry here.

Cost – $1925/person.
