Thirty-four years ago Helen taught English at Mbenga Institute at Karawa.  Among her brightest students was Timothy Mambo.  Several years later God opened the door for Timothy to study at Colorado Technical Institute.  Today Timothy directs Elikia Centre in Gemena, DR Congo, a ministry of Reach Global that is, among many other things, training teen orphans and widows in trades so they can eventually care for themselves.  Timothy with a team of missionaries and his staff (who are also learning English) also host U.S. mission teams at the Centre.
Who knew 34 years ago that Timothy would use his English studies to go on to be a vibrant Christian leader?  GOD DID!
