HOOPER BAY, AK (August 9, 2006) – Days after the flames were doused and the smoldering ashes had cooled, residents of this tiny Alaskan village focused on cleaning up the mess while others focused on helping resupply the village with needed necessities. Following are scenes in the aftermath of last week’s devastating disaster.
