SANTA BARBARA, CA (November 30, 2009) – Casson Demmon, a member of Montecito Covenant Church, hopes the iPhone application he helped design will inspire others this Advent.
Advent2009 will provide daily content for the Advent season. It is free and available for download from the iTunes store.
The app is the first that Demmon has helped design. He paired his “day job” skills as a designer and illustrator with the programming work of a friend, Zach Holt.
Demmon says he hopes to develop a catalog of apps. He also hopes they don’t take as long to produce.
“We started at the beginning of October, but had no clue how much work that many days of content would be,” Demmon says. “We did a lot of overnighters.”
Demmon says he is grateful to his pastor, Don Johnson, because he provided reference material and encouragement when they began the project.
