CHICAGO, IL (August 4, 2009) – More than 400 women already have signed up for Triennial XIII: Reflecting God’s Glory to be held July 22-25, 2010, in Washington D.C.

Preliminary numbers indicate that 407 women have registered – a number roughly equal to 37 percent of the 1,100 total that attended the last Triennial, which was held in Chicago.

The women took advantage of a special non-refundable rate of $260, which reflects a savings of $100 off the regular cost of registration. More registrations still are expected to come in from women who mailed them before the Friday deadline to qualify for the discount.

This is the first year that Women Ministries has offered a non-refundable early registration. “We weren’t sure how it would work, but it has exceeded our expectations,” says Jo Wolfe, chair of Triennial XIII. “Each day brings new excitement about what the Lord is going to do in Washington.”

The event will include many excursion opportunities as well as workshops that range from developing one’s prayer life to learning about human trafficking from a woman who escaped to freedom.

Keynote speakers will be Lynn Hybels, co-founder of Willow Creek Community Church; Kirsten Haglund, the 2008 Miss America; Elizabeth Conde-Frazier, dean of Esperanza College of Eastern University; and Brenda Salter McNeil, Evangelical Covenant Church minister and author.

Click here to take advantage of the early registration rate of $310 that is available through January 15, 2010.
