CHICAGO, IL (May 21, 2009) – Delegates to the 124th Covenant Annual Meeting will take action on the following amendment to the Covenant Constitution when they gather in Portland, Oregon, June 25-27:
Section 11.3.b of the Constitution currently reads, “The Council of Superintendents shall meet at least once a year with the Executive Board.” The proposed amended section would read “The Council of Superintendents shall meet at least once with the Executive Board of the ECC in each calendar year unless by mutual agreement no meeting is deemed necessary.”
The Covenant Executive Board proposed the amendment.
