CHICAGO, IL (May 7, 2009) – The May issue of The Covenant Companion includes on page 26 a listing of names that will appear on the ballot for election to various boards and institutions during the 124th Annual Meeting of the Evangelical Covenant Church in Portland, Oregon.
That listing inadvertently omitted the name of David Kersten, who will stand for re-election to another four-term term as executive minister of the Department of the Ordered Ministry. The listing does include David Olson, who will stand for election as executive minister of the Department of Church Growth and Evangelism. That position became vacant with the election of Gary Walter as president of the Covenant last year.
