PRINCETON, MN (April 2, 2009) – A funeral service for retired Covenant Pastor Dean Goetze, 83, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Karmel Covenant Church. He died on Sunday.
Goetze was born June 28, 1925, in Braham, Minnesota, where he attended Braham Mission Covenant Church. He married Doloris Seaborg in Duluth on June 26, 1948.

Goetze served Covenant churches in Braham; Fridley, Minnesota; and Clear Lake, Wisconsin.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters in Minnesota: Joan Rivers of Andover, Janice Goetze of Coon Rapids, and Susan Lynch of Oakdale; and two sons in Minnesota: Jerry Goetze of Columbia Heights, and Jon Goetze of Minneapolis.
Visitation will be observed at 10 a.m. Friday. Pastor Alan Johnson will officiate the service. Interment will be in the Braham Covenant Cemetery.
