The St. Charles Chamber of Commerce recently honored The Holmstad with its Community Development Award, and the Batavia Chamber of Commerce presented the facility with The Ole Award.
“We are pleased and proud to receive both of these awards,” said Executive Director Karen Larson. “The Holmstad took great care in the design and construction of the town center. We counted on the talents and services of local businesses to create an attractive and functional building that would enhance not only our community, but our neighboring communities as well.”
The Community Development Award is presented to qualified members of the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce for new construction, extensive remodeling or renovation projects that represent a significant investment in the business community. The Ole Award is given to businesses or organizations that have completed renovation or construction that enhances the city of Batavia’s economic and aesthetic future.
