Princess Zulu to Speak at North Park Conference

CHICAGO, IL (March 6, 2009) – Princess Kasune Zulu will be the general sessions speaker at the regional RELOAD Conference being hosted by the Center For Youth Ministry Studies at North Park University on April 4.

Nearly 600 youth workers from six states are expected to attend the one-day training. The Urban Youth Workers Institute sponsors the event.

Zulu (her given name and not a title) was raised in poverty, but has become an internationally known AIDS activist who has traveled with Bono and met with President Bush. Zulu lost both parents and a brother and sister in Zambia to AIDS and is infected with the HIV virus.

She started her seminary studies at North Park Theological Seminary in February.
