LENEXA, KS (February 25, 2009) – Although regular registration was to end Monday for the Emotionally Healthy Spirituality conference in March, featuring Pete and Geri Scazzero, late registrations will be accepted until Friday, March 6, Covenant News Service has been advised.

The conference, geared to pastors, church leaders and spouses, is sponsored by the Evangelical Covenant Church’s Sustaining Pastoral Excellence (SPE) program and will take place March 10-11 at Community Evangelical Covenant Church in Lenexa, a Kansas City suburb.

This special event is designed for men and women in leadership who are eager to be equipped in the application of emotional health and contemplative spirituality. The event will feature a strong experiential component so participants can practice the material.

Registration fees include cost of the event, lunch on both days, and the Emotionally Healthy Spirituality workbook. Cost is $125 for individuals and $140 for couples.

Participants are encouraged to read Pete Scazzero’s book, Emotionally Healthy Spirituality, prior to the event. Scazzero also is author of The Emotionally Healthy Church.

Grants still are available for the conference. For more information, contact Megan Gilmore at 773-907-6582 or by email.
