An Evangelical Covenant Church minister, he also is assistant professor of holistic ministry at Palmer (formerly Eastern) Theological Seminary in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania.
He will focus on the theme “The Missional Imperative: Preaching as if the World Matters.” It will be presented through two lectures: “The Necessity for Missional Preaching” and “The Elements of Missional Preaching.”
Two books authored by Tizon were released last year. One of them, Linking Arms, Linking Lives, exhorts churches to partner across the “urban-suburban” divide for community transformation. The other, Transformation after Lausanne, documents the transformational movement around the world, specifically in the Philippines. For more on Tizon and the books, click here.
