The service will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. in the Smith Fellowship Center at Covenant Village, 9153 Yarrow Street, Westminster, Colorado, with pastor Bruce Linscheid officiating.
Smith was born May 13, 1925, in Cleburne, Kansas, and grew up attending the Evangelical Covenant Church. He married Jane Whitaker on June 7, 1947. The couple moved to Covenant Village of Colorado in January of 1998. Jane Ann preceded him in death in August of 2007.
He retired from full time ministry in 1991, after serving 40 years in Covenant pastorates in Wyoming, California, Washington, and Pennsylvania.
