CHICAGO, IL (November 25, 2008) – Free resources are available for church planters through a new website sponsored by the Department of Church Growth and Evangelism of the Evangelical Covenant Church.
“This is probably the most comprehensive on-line site for free church plant resources on the web,” says Larry Sherman, director of church planting for the Great Lakes Conference.

The site includes Word documents, PowerPoint presentations and videos. All the chapters and PowerPoint presentations from the most recent Church Plant Training Center are available for download.
“In the future, we hope to post videos of the teaching itself so the training center can be used anywhere around the world, or so local planters can review the sessions with their launch teams,” Sherman says.
The site is designed to provide material for churches in each stage of their development, Sherman says. Material ranges from developing a church marketing plan to children’s curriculum.
Contributors to the site are the directors of church planting for the Covenant and teachers of the Church Plant Training Centers.
