Female Pastoral Team Tops November’s Most-Read List

CHICAGO, IL (November 3, 2008) – A story about Brookwood Covenant Church becoming the only congregation in the Evangelical Covenant Church to have women senior and associate pastors was the most-read article in the online Covenant News Service reports during October.

Changes in the lives of Leonid and Leanna Regheta, Covenant missionaries to Russia, also drew readers’ attention. The family is contemplating a change in ministry direction because of changes in Russian policies and regulations that make mission work nearly impossible. Meanwhile, Leanna became a United States citizen.
