CHICAGO, IL (October 7, 2008) – A story on the flooding that forced the evacuation of two dormitories at North Park University was the most-read article in the online Covenant News Service reports during September.

President Gary Walter’s presentation to two gatherings also drew the attention of readers. Walter told the Council of Superintendents as well as administrators that not only is doing ministry important, but the way in which we do ministry is important, too. During a chapel service, Walter told the staff of Covenant offices that we must keep focused on the biblical imperatives to evangelize, do compassion, mercy and justice, and commit to serving the whole church.
