CHICAGO, IL (August 14, 2008) – A new Spanish language content section has been added to the Evangelical Covenant Church website.

This new area, accessed through either of two “Español” links to be found in the upper right area of the Covenant home page, collects all of the Spanish language resources and information that until now have been positioned in various thematic areas throughout the website.

“This is an entry level step for Covenant Communications,” notes executive minister Don Meyer. “It is a starting point – this new area will expand as additional resources are developed.”

Meyer expressed appreciation to both Heidi Griepp, Internet Services manager who developed the new site architecture, and Joshua Swenson, son of Covenant missionaries Baxter and Margie Swenson, who originated most of the new introductory content and translated a number of existing website pages.

Questions and suggestions may be emailed to Heidi Griepp.
