CHICAGO, IL (August 8, 2008) – The deaths of Evangelical Covenant Church members as well as a reflection on the life of famed Carnegie Mellon professor Randy Pausch were among the 10 most-read stories on Covenant News Service (CNS) for the month of July.

Readers also showed a lot of interest in the dangers posed by the Internet to young people and the honor given to yet another Covenant military chaplain.

The Tubeinator website, which measures the popularity of various videos posted on the Internet, showed the CNS story written by Stan Friedman as second on a list of 974 online news articles related to Pausch’s death and “The Last Lecture” video, just ahead of similar online news coverage by BusinessWeek and USA Today.
