CHICAGO, IL (August 6, 2008) – The Annual Nils Lund Memorial Lectures at North Park Theological Seminary will be given September 24-25 by two colleagues who are professors at the University of Durham, United Kingdom.
The first day’s lecturer will be John Barclay, the university’s Lightfoot Professor of Divinity. His lecture is titled, “Grace as Threat and Promise.” The second day’s lecturer will be professor Walter Moberly. He will speak on “Uncomfortable Truths: the Value of the Old Testament for Christian Ministry.”

The lectures are given in two parts. Part one begins at 9 a.m., and part two begins at 10:45 a.m. They are free and open to the public.
