GREEN LAKE, WI (June 26, 2008) – It was serious. It was humorous. It was an outpouring of love for a president retiring after 10 years leading the Evangelical Covenant Church.
Immediately following the conclusion of Tuesday evening’s worship service, which officially opened the 123rd Annual Meeting at the Green Lake Conference Center, colleagues of President Glenn Palmberg offered tributes to his years of leadership and service.

As the saying goes, one would have to have been present to fully appreciate that moment. However, two videos shown during that time share some of the flavor of that time together. The accompanying photo shows World Mission Executive Minister Curt Peterson and his friend, Rennis (that’s sinner in reverse), having a bit of fun at Palmberg’s expense.
