KENT, WA (June 23, 2008) – Kent Covenant Church celebrated the expansion of its facilities with an open house for members of the community on Sunday.
“Join the Fun at Kent Covenant Church” began at 1 p.m. and concluded with a dedication worship service at 4 p.m. Activities were planned for children and teens. Adults played basketball and volleyball in the gym. The event included free hot dogs on the patio, live music, and free lattes at the church espresso bar.

The $4.2 million renovation and expansion includes an expanded foyer, espresso bar and fireside room, preschool and nursery classroom, and a new office wing. The church was formed in 1967 and first met in the band of a local junior high school.
