WINDSOR, CO (May 22, 2008) – No Evangelical Covenant churches were damaged by a massive tornado that swept through a large area surrounding this community today. No word is yet available on the condition of the former Covenant Bible College campus. Sale of the campus is pending.

Three Covenant churches meet in the nearby cities of Loveland and Fort Collins. Berton Wright, pastor of the Fort Collins congregation, said his home’s window was blown out by high winds, but no significant damage had been reported in the community.

The storm moved quickly through the area, but killed at least one person, demolished buildings and dumped golf-ball-size hail in places, according to press reports.
