CHICAGO, IL (March 28, 2008) – Services are pending for Evangelical Covenant Church pastor Larry G. Griffin, 55, who died Thursday.
Griffin was born November 17, 1952, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He attended North Park Theological Seminary from 1993 to 1997 and was ordained in 1998.
Griffin most recently was pastor of Our Savior’s Covenant Church in Chicago. He has been active in various denominational and local ministries including, the Board of Ordered Ministry; the Central Conference Commission on Compassion, Mercy, and Justice; and the board of the North Park Friendship Center food pantry, which is supported by several area Covenant churches.
