SEATTLE, WA (March 13, 2008)  – Hundreds of high school students from across the North Pacific Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church will learn how to turn their beliefs into social action when they attend “Feet to Faith ‘08” August 6 through August 11 on the campus of Seattle University.

Each day will have a different focus: hunger, AIDS and poverty; immigration and refugees; creation care and environmental justice; racial justice; and homelessness.

In addition to talks and worship, students will work alongside ministry leaders in the Seattle metropolitan area so that each day’s focus is more than academic, reflecting a “hands-on” experience.

Registration forms may be downloaded. Cost is $299. A Feet to Faith ’08 Facebook page also has been set up.

For more information, contact Carolyn Poterek, senior high youth pastor at Trinity Covenant Church in Salem, Oregon, by calling 503-581-5675 or by emailing her.
