CHICAGO, IL (December 28, 2007) – Triennial XIII will take place in Washington D.C. in the year 2010, Covenant News Service has learned.

The event will be July 22-25 and will be centered in the Omni Shoreham Hotel, says Ruth Hill, executive minister of Women Ministries.

“We are thrilled to host the event in such an exciting city,” Hill says. “We will be expanding the tour options and adjusting the event schedule to allow attendees to benefit from being in the nation’s capital.”

The historic Omni Shoreham, located in a quiet neighborhood about three miles from the White House, has hosted numerous presidents. “We were in competition with two other groups, one of which was willing to pay a considerably higher room rate,” Hill notes. “The successful negotiation of the contract was a blessing and further confirmation we were where the Lord wanted us.”

Triennial XII took place in Chicago this past August, with more than 1,200 women participating. To read more about that event, please see Triennial XII.
