UNIVERSITY PLACE, WA (August 7, 2007) – Services are pending for 69-year-old Elaine Larson Nelson, wife of retired Evangelical Covenant Church pastor Charles E. Nelson, who died Monday.
Charles Nelson was ordained as a Covenant pastor in 1964 and served a number of churches prior to his retirement, including Ocean Park, Mercer Island, Kirkland and Tacoma, all in the state of Washington, as well as Winnetka Covenant in Illinois.
